Terms applying to OZ Appliance Care subscription plans
OZ Appliance Care is a subscription service offered by OZ Appliance Repairs ABN 25 996 910 996. The subscription covers call-out fees for appliance repair visits at your registered address within our service area in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
By subscribing to OZ Appliance Care, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not proceed with the subscription.
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST. Prices are subject to change at renewal with 30 days written notice.
OZ Appliance Care covers repair visits where a fault, malfunction, or defect is reported by you and confirmed by our technician. The subscription does not cover:
⚠️ If our technician attends and finds the appliance is working as intended with no fault present, the visit does not count as a covered repair under your subscription. A standard call-out fee may apply at our discretion to cover travel and time.
Covers one (1) appliance of your choice: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, cooktop, or rangehood.
Covers up to two (2) laundry appliances: washing machine and/or dryer.
Covers up to three (3) kitchen appliances: oven, cooktop, dishwasher, and/or rangehood.
Covers up to five (5) household appliances across laundry and kitchen categories.
⚠️ The specific appliances covered must be confirmed at time of subscription or first booking. Coverage applies to appliances at your registered address only.
OZ Appliance Care is available to residential customers in Melbourne's northern suburbs only. If you are unsure whether your suburb is covered, please contact us before subscribing.
Subscriptions are non-refundable if your address is found to be outside our service area after purchase. It is your responsibility to confirm your suburb is within our service area prior to subscribing.
Annual plans are billed as a single upfront payment. Your subscription is active immediately upon successful payment and remains active for 12 months from the payment date.
6-month instalment plans are billed as two (2) equal payments. The first payment is due at time of subscription. The second payment is automatically charged 6 months after the first payment.
⚠️ Instalment plans require a minimum of two (2) payments. Cancellation is not available until both payments have been successfully collected. Attempting to cancel before the second payment is processed will result in a cancellation fee equal to the outstanding balance.
All payments are processed securely through Square. OZ Appliance Repairs does not store your card details.
Annual subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each 12-month period unless cancelled. You will be notified by email at least 14 days before your renewal date.
To cancel, email [email protected] with your name, membership code, and cancellation request. We will confirm within 2 business days.
⚠️ Membership codes cannot be transferred to another person or address. The subscription is non-transferable.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
OZ Appliance Repairs reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

Terms applying to all standard appliance repair bookings
A fixed call-out fee of $189 AUD applies to all standard repair bookings. This fee covers travel to your address, diagnosis, and up to 30 minutes of labour.
The call-out fee is payable regardless of whether a repair is completed. If the appliance is beyond economical repair, the call-out fee still applies.
Additional appliances at the same visit: $99 per additional appliance (includes diagnosis and up to 30 minutes labour).
Parts required for repairs are charged at cost plus a standard handling fee. You will be quoted before any parts are ordered or installed. Work will not proceed without your approval.
Labour beyond 30 minutes is charged at $35 per additional 15 minutes. Our technician will advise you before exceeding the included 30 minutes.
The warranty covers the specific fault repaired and is void if the appliance is tampered with or repaired by another party after our service.
⚠️ If the same fault recurs within the warranty period, we will return to assess and rectify at no call-out charge.
You may reschedule at any time before the technician departs for your address.
If access cannot be gained or the appliance is not accessible, the full call-out fee still applies.
Payment is due upon completion of the repair visit. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EFTPOS, and Cash.
For OZ Appliance Care subscribers, the call-out fee is covered by your subscription — parts and additional labour are still payable on the day.
To the extent permitted by law, OZ Appliance Repairs' liability for any claim is limited to the value of the repair fee paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages except where required by law.
Our repair services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
